- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON RULES AND COMPETITIVENESS REP. JIM LILLY CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Thursday, February 11, 2021 10:30 AM Room 519, House Office Building The House Committee on Rules and Competitiveness was called to order by the Chair Lilly. The Clerk read the letter from Speaker of the House of Representatives, Jason Wentworth, appointing the following members to the Rules and Competitiveness committee: Representatives Lilly (Chairman), Clements (Majority Vice Chairman), Calley, Schroeder, Wendzel, Damoose, Posthumus, Anthony (Minority Vice Chairman), Hertel, Sneller, Kuppa. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Lilly, Clements, Calley, Schroeder, Wendzel, Damoose, Posthumus, Anthony, Hertel, Sneller, Kuppa. Absent: None. Excused: None. Representative Posthumus moved to adopt the appointed meeting date, time and location of the regularly scheduled meetings: Thursday, 10:30 a.m., room 352 of the Capitol Building. The motion prevailed 11-0-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Lilly, Clements, Calley, Schroeder, Wendzel, Damoose, Posthumus, Anthony, Hertel, Sneller, Kuppa. Nays: None. Pass: None. The Chair announced that the Rules and Competitiveness committee will follow the Committee Rules, as prescribed in Chapter IV of the House Rules. The Chair gave an introduction and welcoming remarks.
