STEVEN JOHNSON CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Thursday, February 25, 2021 10:30 AM Room 326, House Office Building The House Committee on Oversight was called to order by Chair Steven Johnson. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Steven Johnson, Outman, Hoitenga, Reilly, O'Malley, Wozniak, Brixie, LaGrand, Young. Absent: None. Excused: None. Representative Outman moved to adopt the meeting minutes from February 18, 2021. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid the following before the committee: Office of the Auditor General Performance Audit Report Flint Emergency Expenditures, Michigan Department of Technology Management and Budget, January 2021. 000-2020-21 Representative Reilly motioned to refer the Office of the Auditor General Performance Audit Report Flint Emergency Expenditures, Michigan Department of Technology Management and Budget, January 2021. 000-2020-21 to the Appropriations Subcommittee on Health and Human Services. The motion prevailed 9-0-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Steven Johnson, Outman, Hoitenga, Reilly, O'Malley, Wozniak, Brixie, LaGrand, Young. Nays: None. Pass: None. The Chair laid the following before the committee: Overview of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Nursing Home Policy The Chair made remarks to the committee. David Gehm, representing Leading Age Michigan and Wellspring Lutheran Services, testified before the committee. Questions and discussion followed.
