JULIE ALEXANDER CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Thursday, March 4, 2021 8:00 AM Senate Hearing Room, Ground Floor, Boji Tower The House Committee on Agriculture met jointly with the Senate Committee on Agriculture. The Senate Committee on Agriculture was called to order by Senator Daley The House Committee on Agriculture was called to order by Chair Alexander. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Alexander, Posthumus, Bellino, Rendon, Filler, Carra, Garza, Cambensy, Hope, Witwer, Puri. Absent: None. Excused: None. Representative Filler attended the meeting remotely. Chair Alexander laid the following before the committee: A presentation from the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development on Michigan's Industrial Hemp Program. Nathan Kark and Gina Alessandri, representing the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, provided testimony on the Industrial Hemp Program in Michigan. Questions and discussion followed. Senator Daley adjourned the Senate Agriculture Committee at 8:50 A.M. There being no further business before the committee, Rep.
