Majority Vice Chair Brad Paquette requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Hornberger, Paquette, Green, Markkanen, O'Malley, Beeler, Damoose, Posthumus, Camilleri, Brenda Carter, Koleszar, Shannon, Stone. Absent: None. Excused: None. Representative Damoose moved to adopt the meeting minutes from March 9, 2021. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. Majority Vice Chair Brad Paquette laid HB 4375 before the committee: HB 4375 (Rep. Steven Johnson) A bill to amend 1980 PA 300, entitled "The public school employees retirement act of 1979," by amending section 61 (MCL 38.1361), as amended by 2018 PA 482. Representative Steven Johnson testified in support of HB 4375. Questions and discussion followed.
