- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON ENERGY REP. JOE BELLINO CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Tuesday, March 23, 2021 11:30 AM Room 352, House Appropriations, State Capitol Building The House Committee on Energy was called to order by Chairman Bellino. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Bellino, Markkanen, Hoitenga, Reilly, Berman, Paquette, Martin, Outman, Roth, Manoogian, Sneller, Cherry, Haadsma, Morse, Puri, Scott. Absent: Rep. Schroeder. Excused: Rep. Schroeder. Representative Martin joined the committee remotely. Representative Haadsma moved to adopt the meeting minutes from March 17, 2021. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. Chairman Bellino laid before the committee an oversight hearing on the Line 5 Pipeline. Jane Tomaszewski, representing Crystal Flash, gave a presentation to the committee. Questions and discussion followed. Wayne Kohley, representing Excel Propane, gave a presentation to the committee. Questions and discussion followed. Michael Sloan, representing ICF International, gave a presentation to the committee. Questions and discussion followed. Rocco Rossi, representing the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, gave a presentation to the committee. Questions and discussion followed. Joseph Mancinelli, representing the Laborer's International Union of North America, gave a presentation to the committee. Questions and discussion followed. Representative Outman moved to excuse Representative Schroeder from the meeting. There being no objection the motion prevailed by unanimous consent.
