The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Hauck, Hoitenga, Bellino, Hall, Mueller, Wendzel, Clements, Damoose, Outman, Hertel, Jones, Yancey, Garza, Witwer, Steenland. Absent: None. Excused: None. Representative Clements moved to adopt the meeting minutes from March 16, 2021. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. Cherry) A bill to amend 1987 PA 96, entitled "The mobile home commission act," by amending section 16 (MCL 125.2316), as amended by 2015 PA 40. HB 4299 (Rep. Kahle) A bill to amend 1987 PA 96, entitled "The mobile home commission act," (MCL 125.2301 to 125.2350) by adding section 16b. HB 4300 (Rep. Clements) A bill to amend 1987 PA 96, entitled "The mobile home commission act," by amending section 5 (MCL 125.2305), as amended by 2006 PA 328. HB 4301 (Rep. Sneller) A bill to amend 1987 PA 96, entitled "The mobile home commission act," by amending sections 4, 35, and 43 (MCL 125.2304, 125.2335, and 125.2343), sections 4 and 43 as amended by 2015 PA 40. Hammoud) A bill to amend 2018 IL 1, entitled "Michigan Regulation and Taxation of Marihuana Act," by amending sections 3, 11, and 15 (MCL 333.27953, 333.27961, and 333.27965), section 3 as amended by 2020 PA 208. HB 4251 (Rep. Bellino) A bill to prohibit the sale of vapor products or alternative nicotine products that contain vitamin E acetate; and to prescribe penalties. The following person submitted a card in support of HB 4249 and HB 4250, but did not wish to speak: Kevin McKinney, representing the Michigan Cannabis Industry Association. Representative Bellino offered the following amendment to HB 4295: 1. Amend page 2, line 12, after "years." by inserting "This subdivision does not apply to a marihuana-related felony.". 2. Amend page 2, line 18, after "state." by inserting "This subdivision does not apply to a marihuana-related misdemeanor or ordinance violation.". 3. Amend page 4, line 11, after "violations" by inserting "or marihuana-related offenses". Representative Bellino moved to adopt the amendment to HB 4295.
