- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON TRANSPORTATION REP. JACK O'MALLEY CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Tuesday, April 20, 2021 10:30 AM Room 519, House Office Building The House Committee on Transportation was called to order by Chair O'Malley. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. O'Malley, Eisen, Howell, Griffin, Berman, Carra, Roth, Sneller, Clemente, Shannon, Liberati, Puri. Absent: Rep. LaFave. Excused: Rep. LaFave. Representatives Clemente and Shannon joined the committee remotely. Representative Carra moved to adopt the meeting minutes from March 23, 2021. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid the presentation from the Michigan Department of Transportation before the committee. Chief Administrative Officer Laura Mester, joined by Chief Engineer and Operations Officer Tony Kratofil, both representing the Michigan Department of Transportation, provided a presentation on Quality and Oversight of the Michigan Department of Transportation's Services. Questions and discussion followed. Representative Eisen moved to excuse Representative LaFave from the meeting. There being no objection the motion prevailed by unanimous consent.
