- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON APPROPRIATIONS REP. ANN BOLLIN CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES The House Committee on Appropriations was called to order by Chair Bollin. The Chair requested attendance to be called: Present: Reps. Bollin, Maddock, Phil Green, Jenkins-Arno, Kelly, Markkanen, Mueller, Slagh, VanWoerkom, Beson, Borton, Roth, Cavitt, DeSana, Kuhn, Steele, Robinson, Farhat, O'Neal, Rogers, Steckloff, Glanville, Edwards, Martus, McKinney, Morgan, Price, Snyder and Longjohn. Absent: None. Excused: None. Representative Farhat moved to adopt the meeting minutes from April 16, 2025. There being no objection, the motion prevailed with unanimous consent. Representative Borton moved to adopt the meeting minutes from April 30, 2025. There being no objection, the motion prevailed with unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4011 before the committee: Representative Hoadley and Kyle Kaminski, representing the Michigan Department of Corrections, testified in support of HB 4011. Hoadley) A bill to authorize the department of technology, management, and budget to convey or transfer state-owned property in Arenac County; to prescribe conditions for the conveyance or transfer; to provide for powers and duties of state departments, agencies, and officers in regard to the property; and to provide for disposition of revenue derived from the conveyance. The Chair laid HB 4023 before the committee: Jocelyn Bundy, representing the Office of Representative Witwer, and Neil DeSouza, representing the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget, testified in support of HB 4023. Questions and discussions followed. The Chair laid HB 4135 before the committee: Representative Lightner, joined by County Administrator Mike Overton, representing Jackson County, Ed Sapala, representing Veregy and Neil DeSouza, representing the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget, testified in support of HB 4135.
