STEVE MARINO CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Tuesday, May 4, 2021 9:00 AM Room 327, House Office Building The House Committee on Commerce and Tourism was called to order by Chair Marino. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Marino, Roth, Farrington, Wakeman, Wendzel, Martin, Cambensy, Cherry, Manoogian, Whitsett, Liberati. Absent: None. Excused: None. Representative Wakeman moved to adopt the meeting minutes from April 20, 2021. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4462, HB 4463 and HB 4658 before the committee: HB 4462 (Rep. Marino) A bill to amend 1984 PA 431, entitled "The management and budget act," (MCL 18.1101 to 18.1594) by adding section 266. HB 4463 (Rep. Marino) A bill to amend 1984 PA 431, entitled "The management and budget act," (MCL 18.1101 to 18.1594) by adding section 262a. HB 4658 (Rep. Manoogian) A bill to amend 1984 PA 431, entitled "The management and budget act," (MCL 18.1101 to 18.1594) by adding section 262a. Representative Marino, testified in support of HB 4462, HB 4463 and HB 4658. Representative Manoogian, testified in support of HB 4462, HB 4463 and HB 4658. The Chair laid HB 4641 before the committee: HB 4641 (Rep. Marino) A bill to amend 1992 PA 147, entitled "Neighborhood enterprise zone act," by amending section 11 (MCL 207.781), as amended by 2020 PA 3. Representative Roth moved to report out HB 4641 with recommendation. The motion prevailed 11-0-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Marino, Roth, Farrington, Wakeman, Wendzel, Martin, Cambensy, Cherry, Manoogian, Whitsett, Liberati. Nays: None. Pass: None. The Chair returned to HB 4462, 4463, and 4658: Bree Anderson and Steve Davis, representing the Michigan Department of Technology, Management & Budget, testified in support of HB 4462, HB 4463 and HB 4658.
