- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON COMMUNICATIONS AND TECHNOLOGY REP. MICHELE HOITENGA CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Wednesday, May 26, 2021 10:30 AM Room 307, House Office Building The House Committee on Communications and Technology was called to order by Chair Hoitenga. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Hoitenga, Damoose, Griffin, Hauck, Reilly, Wozniak, Bezotte, Coleman, Haadsma, Scott. Absent: Rep. Aiyash. Excused: Rep. Aiyash. Representative Damoose moved to adopt the meeting minutes from March 9, 2021. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4778 before the committee: HB 4778 (Rep. Steven Johnson) A bill to amend 1984 PA 431, entitled "The management and budget act," (MCL 18.1101 to 18.1594) by adding section 270. Representative johnson, testified in support of HB 4778. Representative Haadsma moved to excuse Representative Aiyash from the meeting. There being no objection the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. There being no further business before the committee, Rep. Michele Hoitenga adjourned the meeting at 10:34 AM.
