- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON TRANSPORTATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE REP. PAT OUTMAN CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES The House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure was called to order by Chair Outman. The Chair requested attendance to be called: Present: Reps. Outman, Alexander, Carra, Bruck, Kunse, Neyer, Prestin, Bohnak, Frisbie, Wortz, Hope, Koleszar, Andrews and Miller. Absent: Reps. Herzberg, Grant and Wilson. Excused: Reps. Herzberg, Grant and Wilson. Representative Alexander moved to adopt the meeting minutes from May 13, 2025. There being no objection, the motion prevailed with unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4426 before the committee: Representative Borton testified in support of HB 4426. Questions and discussions followed. Wayne Kohley, representing the Michigan Propane Gas Association, testified in support of HB 4426. Questions and discussions followed. The Chair laid HB 4301 and HB 4302 before the committee: Tuesday, May 20, 2025 Noon. Room 519, House Office Building HB 4426 (Rep. Borton) A bill to amend 1963 PA 181, entitled "Motor carrier safety act of 1963," by amending section 2d (MCL 480.12d), as amended by 2011 PA 160. HB 4301 (Rep. BeGole) A bill to amend 1949 PA 300, entitled "Michigan vehicle code," by amending sections 2 and 698 (MCL 257.2 and 257.698), section 2 as amended by 2011 PA 231 and section 698 as amended by 2020 PA 382. HB 4302 (Rep. McFall) A bill to amend 1949 PA 300, entitled "Michigan vehicle code," by amending Representative Bruck moved to report out HB 4301 with recommendation.
