- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON APPROPRIATIONS REP. ANN BOLLIN CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES The House Committee on Appropriations was called to order by Chair Bollin. The Chair requested attendance to be called: Present: Reps. Bollin, Maddock, Phil Green, Jenkins-Arno, Kelly, Markkanen, Mueller, Slagh, VanWoerkom, Beson, Borton, Roth, Cavitt, DeSana, Kuhn, Steele, Robinson, Farhat, O'Neal, Rogers, Steckloff, Glanville, Edwards, Martus, McKinney, Morgan, Price, Snyder and Longjohn. Absent: None. Excused: None. Representative Maddock moved to adopt the meeting minutes from May 14, 2025. There being no objection, the motion prevailed with unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4420 before the committee: Representative Kunse testified in support of HB 4420. Questions and discussions followed. Former House Appropriations Chair Shane Hernandez testified in support of HB 4420. Questions and discussions followed. James Hohman, representing the Mackinac Center, testified in support of HB 4420. Kunse) A bill to amend 1984 PA 431, entitled "The management and budget act," (MCL 18.1101 to 18.1594) by adding section 1365a. At 9:44 AM, the Chair called the committee back to order. Hoadley) A bill to authorize the department of technology, management, and budget to convey or transfer state-owned property in Arenac County; to prescribe conditions for the conveyance or transfer; to provide for powers and duties of state departments, agencies, and officers in regard to the property; and to provide for disposition of revenue derived from the conveyance. HB 4023 (Rep. Witwer) A bill to authorize the state administrative board to convey state-owned property in Eaton County; to prescribe conditions for the conveyance; to provide for powers and duties of state departments, agencies, and officers in regard to the property; and to provide for disposition of revenue derived from the conveyance. HB 4135 (Rep. Lightner) A bill to authorize the state administrative board to convey state-owned property in Jackson County; to prescribe conditions for the conveyance; to provide for powers and duties of state departments, agencies, and officers regarding the property; and to provide for disposition of revenue derived from the conveyance.
