BRONNA KAHLE CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Thursday, June 17, 2021 10:00 AM Room 352, House Appropriations, State Capitol Building The House Committee on Health Policy was called to order by Chair Kahle. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Kahle, Meerman, Whiteford, Alexander, Allor, Hauck, Filler, Mueller, Beeler, Fink, Roth, Tisdel, Witwer, Clemente, Pohutsky, Stone, Whitsett, Neeley, Morse. Absent: None. Excused: None. Representative Meerman moved to adopt the meeting minutes from June 3, 2021. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4075 and HB 4076 before the committee: HB 4075 (Rep. LaFave) A bill to amend 1956 PA 62, entitled "An act to authorize the director of the department of state police to promulgate a uniform traffic code; to authorize a city, township, or village to adopt the uniform traffic code by reference without publication in full; and to prescribe criminal penalties and civil sanctions for violation of the code," by amending section 1 (MCL 257.951), as amended by 2006 PA 297. HB 4076 (Rep. LaFave) A bill to amend 1976 PA 220, entitled "Persons with disabilities civil rights act," (MCL 37.1101 to 37.1607) by adding section 102a. Representative LaFave, testified in support of HB 4075 and HB 4076. Questions and discussion followed. Thanedar) A bill to amend 1939 PA 280, entitled "The social welfare act," by amending section 57z (MCL 400.57z), as added by 2014 PA 395.
