- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON COMMUNICATIONS AND TECHNOLOGY REP. MICHELE HOITENGA CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Wednesday, June 23, 2021 10:30 AM Room 307, House Office Building The House Committee on Communications and Technology was called to order by Majority Vice Chair Damoose. The Majority Vice Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Hoitenga, Damoose, Griffin, Hauck, Reilly, Wozniak, Bezotte, Coleman, Haadsma, Aiyash, Scott. Absent: None. Excused: None. Representative Bezotte moved to adopt the minutes from the June 16th, 2021 meeting. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Majority Vice Chair laid SB 372 before the committee: SB 372 (Sen. Horn) A bill to amend 1991 PA 179, entitled "Michigan telecommunications act," by amending section 309 (MCL 484.2309), as amended by 2011 PA 58. Representative Hauck moved to report out SB 372 with recommendation. The motion prevailed 10-0-1: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Hoitenga, Damoose, Griffin, Hauck, Reilly, Wozniak, Bezotte, Coleman, Haadsma, Scott. Nays: None. Pass: Rep. Aiyash. There being no further business before the committee, Majority Vice Chair Damoose adjourned the meeting at 10:35 AM.
