JOE BELLINO CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Wednesday, January 26, 2022 9:00 AM Room 519, House Office Building The House Committee on Energy was called to order by Chair Bellino. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Bellino, Markkanen, Hoitenga, Reilly, Berman, Paquette, Beeler, Martin, Outman, Roth, Manoogian, Sneller, Haadsma, Morse, Puri. Absent: Reps. Cherry, Scott. Excused: Reps. Cherry, Scott. Representatives Berman and Morse joined the committee remotely. Representative Puri moved to adopt the meeting minutes from December 8, 2021. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. Chairman Bellino laid before the committee a presentation on energy storage. Melissa Seymour, representing the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO), gave a presentation to the committee. Questions and discussion followed. Questions and discussion followed. Representative Beeler moved to excuse Representatives Cherry and Scott from the meeting. There being no objection the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. There being no further business before the committee, Chair Bellino adjourned the meeting at 9:40 AM.
