CALLEY CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Wednesday, January 26, 2022 2:00 PM Room 521, House Office Building The House Committee on Local Government and Municipal Finance was called to order by Chair Calley. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Calley, Bezotte, Howell, Alexander, Bellino, Berman, Paquette, Slagh, Ellison, Sowerby, Garza, Kuppa, Cavanagh. Absent: None. Excused: None. Representative Paquette moved to adopt the meeting minutes from December 8, 2021. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid SB 562 before the committee: SB 562 (Sen. Victory) A bill to amend 1996 PA 381, entitled "Brownfield redevelopment financing act," by amending section 2 (MCL 125.2652), as amended by 2020 PA 259. Representative Bezotte moved to adopt substitute (H-1) to SB 562. The motion prevailed 12- 0-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Calley, Bezotte, Howell, Alexander, Bellino, Berman, Paquette, Slagh, Ellison, Sowerby, Kuppa, Cavanagh. Nays: None. Pass: None.
