JULIE ALEXANDER CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Wednesday, February 16, 2022 10:30 AM Room 326, House Office Building The House Committee on Agriculture was called to order by Chair Alexander. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Alexander, Posthumus, Bellino, Rendon, Filler, Carra, Garza, Cambensy, Hope, Witwer, Puri. Absent: None. Excused: None. Representative Filler moved to adopt the meeting minutes from February 9, 2022. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 5671, HB 5704 and HB 5705 before the committee: HB 5671 (Rep. Alexander) A bill to amend 2000 PA 92, entitled "Food law," by amending section 4102 (MCL 289.4102), as amended by 2012 PA 178. HB 5704 (Rep. Glenn) A bill to amend 2000 PA 92, entitled "Food law," by amending sections 1105 and 4102 (MCL 289.1105 and 289.4102), section 1105 as amended by 2014 PA 516 and section 4102 as amended by 2012 PA 178. HB 5705 (Rep. Brann) A bill to amend 2000 PA 92, entitled "Food law," by amending section 1111 (MCL 289.1111), as amended by 2018 PA 92, and by adding section 6171. Representative Rendon moved to adopt substitute (H-1) to HB 5671. The motion prevailed 11-0- 0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps.
