The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Hauck, Hoitenga, Bellino, Mueller, Wendzel, Clements, Damoose, Outman, Hertel, Yancey, Garza, Witwer, Steenland, Young. Absent: Rep. Mekoski. Excused: Rep. Mekoski. Representative Hoitenga moved to adopt the meeting minutes from May 24, 2022. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 5839 before the committee: HB 5839 (Rep. Outman) A bill to amend 2018 IL 1, entitled "Michigan Regulation and Taxation of Marihuana Act," by amending section 7 (MCL 333.27957). Representative Mueller moved to adopt substitute (H-1) to HB 5839. The motion prevailed 13-0- 0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Steenland) A bill to amend 1998 PA 58, entitled "Michigan liquor control code of 1998," by amending sections 105 and 603 (MCL 436.1105 and 436.1603), as amended by 2021 PA 19. HB 6107 (Rep. Hoitenga) A bill to amend 1998 PA 58, entitled "Michigan liquor control code of 1998," by amending section 609a (MCL 436.1609a), as amended by 2020 PA 119, and by adding section 609f. The Chair laid HB 6087 before the committee: HB 6087 (Rep. Hauck) A bill to amend 1998 PA 58, entitled "Michigan liquor control code of 1998," by amending section 205 (MCL 436.1205), as amended by 2020 PA 126. Substitute (H-1) was previously adopted to HB 6087 on May 17, 2022. Representative Hertel moved to report out HB 6087 with recommendation, as substitute (H-1). The motion prevailed 14-0-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Hauck, Hoitenga, Bellino, Mueller, Wendzel, Clements, Damoose, Outman, Hertel, Yancey, Garza, Witwer, Steenland, Young. Nays: None. Pass: None. Representative Bellino moved to excuse Representative Mekoski from the meeting. There being no objection the motion prevailed by unanimous consent.
