- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON ENERGY REP. JOE BELLINO CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Wednesday, June 8, 2022 9:00 AM Room 519, House Office Building The House Committee on Energy was called to order by Chair Bellino. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Bellino, Markkanen, Hoitenga, Reilly, Paquette, Beeler, Martin, Outman, Roth, Harris, Manoogian, Sneller, Cherry, Haadsma, Morse, Puri, Scott. Absent: None. Excused: None. Representative Scott moved to adopt the meeting minutes from May 25, 2022. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. At 9:03 AM, the Chair laid the committee at ease. At 9:05 AM, the Chair called the committee back to order. Chairman Bellino laid before the committee a presentation on controlled power outages. Melissa Seymour, representing the Midcontinent Independent Systems Operator (MISO), gave a presentation to the committee. Questions and discussion followed.
