CALLEY CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Tuesday, June 21, 2022 2:30 PM Room 521, House Office Building The House Committee on Local Government and Municipal Finance was called to order by Chair Calley. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Calley, Bezotte, Howell, Alexander, Bellino, Paquette, Slagh, Ellison, Sowerby, Garza, Kuppa, Cavanagh. Absent: Rep. Mekoski. Excused: Rep. Mekoski. Representative Bezotte moved to adopt the meeting minutes from June 15, 2022. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. Representative Paquette moved to excuse Representative Mekoski from the meeting. There being no objection the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4875 before the committee: HB 4875 (Rep. Alexander) A bill to amend 2006 PA 110, entitled "Michigan zoning enabling act," by amending section 205 (MCL 125.3205), as amended by 2018 PA 366. Representative Alexander testified in support of HB 4875. Representative Bezotte moved to adopt substitute (H-2) to HB 4875. The motion prevailed 12-0-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps.
