MICHAEL WEBBER CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Tuesday, February 26, 2019 10:30 AM Room 521, House Office Building The House Standing Committee on Regulatory Reform was called to order by Chairman Webber. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Webber, Berman, Crawford, Farrington, Frederick, Hoitenga, Filler, Hall, Wendzel, Chirkun, Liberati, Cambensy, Jones, Garza, Robinson. Absent/Excused: None. Representative Berman moved to adopt the meeting minutes from February 19, 2019. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4112 before the committee: HB 4112 (Rep. Vaupel) A bill to amend 1998 PA 58, entitled "Michigan liquor control code of 1998,"(MCL 436.1101 to 436.2303) by adding section 905a. Representative Liberati offered the following amendments to HB 4112: 1. Amend page 1, line 8, by striking out "Develop and furnish the sign." and inserting "including the message required under this subsection in the sign furnished by the commission under section 701." Representative Liberati moved to adopt the amendments to HB 4112. The motion prevailed 15-0-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Webber, Berman, Crawford, Farrington, Frederick, Hoitenga, Filler, Hall, Wendzel, Chirkun, Liberati, Cambensy, Jones, Garza, Robinson. Nays: None. Pass: None. Albert) A bill to amend 1915 PA 31, entitled"Youth tobacco act,"by amending the title and sections 1, 2, and 4 (MCL 722.641, 722.642, and 722.644), as amended by 2006 PA 236, and by adding sections 2b and 2c.
