- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON WAYS AND MEANS REP. BRANDT IDEN CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Tuesday, March 19, 2019 10:30 AM Room 352, House Appropriations, State Capitol Building The House Standing Committee on Ways and Means was called to order by Chairman Iden. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Iden, Lilly, Leutheuser, Griffin, Hauck, Kahle, Wentworth, Warren, Byrd, Neeley, Hertel. Absent/Excused: None. Representative Wentworth moved to adopt the meeting minutes from March 12, 2019. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4226 before the committee: HB 4226 (Rep. Berman) A bill to amend 1961 PA 236, entitled “Revised judicature act of 1961,"by amending section 3240 (MCL 600.3240), as amended by 2014 PA 431. Chairman Iden introduced the bill to the committee. Questions and discussion followed. There being no further business before the committee, Rep. Brandt Iden adjourned the meeting at 10:43 AM.
