JULIE ALEXANDER CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Wednesday, March 20, 2019 10:30 AM Room 326, House Office Building The House Standing Committee on Agriculture was called to order by the Chair. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. J Alexander, Meerman, LaFave, Eisen, Mueller, Wendzel, Elder, Coleman, Garza, Witwer. Absent/Excused: Rep. C Johnson. Representative LaFave moved to adopt the meeting minutes from March 13, 2019 10:30 AM. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. Dean Ron Hendrick, Michigan State University College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, testified in noposition of Director Doug Buhler, Michigan State University AgBioResearch, testified in noposition of Director Jeff Dwyer, Michigan State University Extension, testified in noposition of Ron Hendrick, Doug Buhler, and Jeff Dwyer approached to answer questions from committee members regarding their respective presentations. Questions and discussion followed. Representative Elder moved to excuse Representative C Johnson from the meeting. There being no objection the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. There being no further business before the committee, Rep. Julie Alexander adjourned the meeting at 11:16 AM.
