JACK O'MALLEY CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Tuesday, April 30, 2019 10:30 AM Room 327, House Office Building The House Standing Committee on Transportation was called to order by the Chair. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. O'Malley, Eisen, Cole, Sheppard, Alexander, Bellino, Howell, Afendoulis, Sneller, Clemente, Yancey, Haadsma, Shannon. Absent/Excused: None. The Chair laid the presentation from the Michigan Department of Transportation before the committee. Tony Kratofil, representing the Michigan Department of Transportation, provided a presentation regarding Road Building Materials and Labor Costs in Michigan. Questions and discussion followed. Representative Sheppard moved to adopt the meeting minutes from April 24, 2019. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid the presentation from the County Road Association of Michigan before the committee. Deputy Director Ed Noyola, representing the County Road Association of Michigan, provided a presentation on Local Project Costs in the State of Michigan. Questions and discussion followed. The Chair laid the presentation from the Michigan Municipal League before the committee. Assistant Director John LaMacchia, representing the Michigan Municipal League, joined by Public Service Director Andy Kilpatrick, representing the City of Lansing, provided a presentation on Road Building Aggregate Costs.
