- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON MILITARY, VETERANS AND HOMELAND SECURITY REP. BEAU M LAFAVE CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Tuesday, May 21, 2019 12:00 PM Room 307, House Office Building The House Standing Committee on Military, Veterans and Homeland Security was called to order by the Chair LaFave. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. LaFave, Mueller, Marino, Afendoulis, Markkanen, Jones, Chirkun, T Carter, Manoogian. Absent/Excused: None. Representative T. Carter moved to adopt the meeting minutes from May 7, 2019. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid a presentation on Energy Security before the committee. Major General Stone of the Michigan National Guard gave a presentation on Energy Security. Questions and discussion followed. There being no further business before the committee, Rep.
