HANK VAUPEL CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Thursday, June 6, 2019 10:30 AM Room 519, House Office Building The House Standing Committee on Health Policy was called to order by the Chair Vaupel. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Vaupel, Frederick, J Alexander, Calley, Hornberger, Lower, Whiteford, Afendoulis, Filler, Mueller, Wozniak, Liberati, Clemente, Ellison, Koleszar, Pohutsky, Stone, Witwer. Absent/Excused: Rep. Garrett. Representative Frederick moved to adopt the meeting minutes from May 16, 2019. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. Representative Liberati moved to excuse Representative Garrett from the meeting. There being no objection the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. VanderWall) A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled “Public health code,” by amending section 7303a (MCL 333.7303a), as amended by 2018 PA 101. SB 0128 (Sen. Hertel) A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled “Public health code,” by amending section 7104 (MCL 333.7104), as amended by 2001 PA 233. Representative Hertel testified in support of the bills.
