- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON APPROPRIATIONS REP. ANN BOLLIN CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES The House Committee on Appropriations was called to order by Chair Bollin. The Chair requested attendance to be called: Present: Reps. Bollin, Maddock, Phil Green, Jenkins-Arno, Kelly, Markkanen, Mueller, Slagh, VanWoerkom, Beson, Borton, Roth, Cavitt, DeSana, Kuhn, Steele, Robinson, Farhat, O'Neal, Rogers, Glanville, Edwards, Martus, McKinney, Morgan, Price, Snyder and Longjohn. Absent: Rep. Steckloff. Excused: Rep. Steckloff. Representative Maddock moved to adopt the meeting minutes from February 05, 2025. There being no objection, the motion prevailed with unanimous consent. Representative Beson moved to adopt Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. in room 352 of the State Capitol Building as the standing day, time, and location of the House Appropriations Committee. The motion prevailed 27-0-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Bollin, Maddock, Phil Green, Jenkins-Arno, Kelly, Markkanen, Slagh, VanWoerkom, Beson, Borton, Roth, Cavitt, DeSana, Kuhn, Steele, Robinson, Farhat, O'Neal, Rogers, Glanville, Edwards, Martus, McKinney, Morgan, Price, Snyder and Longjohn. Nays: None. Pass: None. Chair Bollin stated that the House Appropriations Committee will follow the Uniform Committee Rules, stated in the House Standing Rules, that were adopted on the House Floor. Chair Bollin offered the following proposed committee rule: At the discretion of the committee chair, a member of the public may address the committee regarding business before the committee. The committee may accept written testimony in lieu of oral testimony. Wednesday, February 19, 2025 9:00 AM Room 352, State Capitol Building Representative Borton moved to adopt the proposed committee rule. The motion prevailed 27-0- 0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Bollin, Maddock, Phil Green, Jenkins-Arno, Kelly, Markkanen, Slagh, VanWoerkom, Beson, Borton, Roth, Cavitt, DeSana, Kuhn, Steele, Robinson, Farhat, O'Neal, Rogers, Glanville, Edwards, Martus, McKinney, Morgan, Price, Snyder and Longjohn. Nays: None. Pass: None. The Chair laid House Fiscal Agency Overview of FY 2025-2026 Executive Recommendation before the committee. Mary-Ann Cleary, representing the House Fiscal Agency gave an Overview of the FY 2025- 2026 Executive Recommendation. Questions and discussions followed. Ben Gielczyk, representing the House Fiscal Agency approached to answer questions from members. Jacqueline Mullen, representing the House Fiscal Agency approached to answer questions from members. Representative Bollin moved to excuse Rep. Steckloff from the meeting. There being no objection the motion prevailed by unanimous consent.
