- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON ECONOMIC COMPETITIVENESS REP. MIKE HOADLEY CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Thursday, September 4, 2025 10:30 AM Room 521, House Office Building The House Committee on Economic Competitiveness was called to order by Chair Hoadley. The Chair requested attendance to be called: Present: Reps. Hoadley, Bohnak, Outman, Harris, DeBoyer, St. Germaine, Grant, Brixie and Tate. Absent: Reps. BeGole and Coffia. Excused: Reps. BeGole and Coffia. Representative St. Germaine moved to adopt the meeting minutes from August 21, 2025. There being no objection, the motion prevailed with unanimous consent. The Chair laid a presentation from the National Federation of Independent Business before the committee. Amanda Fisher, representing the National Federation of Independent Business, gave a presentation on the State of Small Business. Questions and discussions followed. Representative Outman moved to excuse Representatives BeGole and Coffia from the meeting. There being no objection the motion prevailed by unanimous consent.
