BRANDT IDEN CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Tuesday, September 10, 2019 10:30 AM Room 352, House Appropriations, State Capitol Building The House Standing Committee on Ways and Means was called to order by Majority Vice-Chair Lilly. At 10:31 AM, the Majority Vice-Chair Lilly laid the committee at ease. At 10:57 AM, the Chair called the committee back to order. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Iden, Lilly, Leutheuser, Griffin, Hauck, Kahle, Wentworth, Warren, Byrd, Neeley, Hertel. Absent/Excused: None. Representative Lilly moved to adopt the meeting minutes from September 3, 2019. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4468 before the committee: HB 4468 (Rep. Johnson) A bill to amend 1976 PA 442, entitled "Freedom of information act, "by amending section 5 (MCL 15.235), as amended by 2018 PA 105. Representative Lilly moved to report out HB 4468 with recommendation. The motion prevailed 11-0-0. FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Iden, Lilly, Leutheuser, Griffin, Hauck, Kahle, Wentworth, Warren, Byrd, Neeley, Hertel. Nays: None. Pass: None. The Chair laid HB 4128 before the committee: HB 4128 (Rep. Miller) A bill to amend 1939 PA 288, entitled "Probate code of 1939,"by amending section 1 of chapter XI (MCL 711.1), as amended by 2000 PA 111.
