MATT HALL CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Thursday, September 12, 2019 10:15 AM Room 326, House Office Building The House Standing Committee on Oversight was called to order by the Chair. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Hall, Reilly, Webber, Steven Johnson, LaFave, Schroeder, Cynthia Johnson, Camilleri, LaGrand. Absent/Excused: None. Representative Reilly moved to adopt the meeting minutes from August 29, 2019. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. At 10:16 AM, the Chair laid the committee at ease. At 10:17 AM, the Chair called the committee back to order. The Chair laid before the committee the following: Discussion: Department of Health and Human Services Bureau of Health and Wellness, Public Health Administration - Protection of Youth from Nicotine Product Addiction Emergency Rules Comments from the Chair. Dr. Joneigh Kahlden Chief Medical Executive and Chief Deputy for Health at the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services testified regarding the protection of youth from nicotine product addiction Emergency Rules.
