MATT HALL CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Thursday, November 7, 2019 10:30 AM Room 326, House Office Building The House Standing Committee on Oversight was called to order by Chair Hall. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Hall, Reilly, Webber, Steven Johnson, LaFave, Schroeder, Cynthia Johnson, Camilleri, LaGrand. Absent/Excused: None. Representative Reilly moved to adopt the meeting minutes from October 10, 2019. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. At 10:36 AM, the Chair laid the committee at ease. At 10:37 AM, the Chair called the committee back to order. The Chair laid HB 4831 before the committee: HB 4831 (Rep. Lightner) A bill to amend 1984 PA 431, entitled "The management and budget act," by amending section 261 (MCL 18.1261), as amended by 2017 PA 21. Representative Webber moved to adopt substitute (H-1) to HB 4831. The motion prevailed 8-0-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Hall, Reilly, Webber, Steven Johnson, Schroeder, Cynthia Johnson, Camilleri, LaGrand. Nays: None. Pass: None. Representative Lightner testified in support of HB 4831. Questions and discussion followed. Representative S. Johnson moved to reconsider the vote on which Substitute (H-1) to HB 4831 was adopted. The motion prevailed 9-0-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Hall, Reilly, Webber, Steven Johnson, LaFave, Schroeder, Cynthia Johnson, Camilleri, LaGrand. Nays: None. Pass: None. Representative LaFave moved to adopt Substitute (H-1) to HB 4831. Representative LaFave moved to adopt substitute (H-2) to HB 5015. The motion prevailed 9-0-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps.
