SHANE HERNANDEZ CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Wednesday, February 12, 2020 9:00 AM Room 352, House Appropriations, State Capitol Building The House Standing Committee on Appropriations was called to order by Chair Hernandez. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Hernandez, Miller, Sheppard, Albert, Allor, Brann, VanSingel, Whiteford, Yaroch, Bollin, Glenn, Green, Huizenga, Lightner, Maddock, Slagh, VanWoerkom, Hoadley, Love, Hammoud, Peterson, Sabo, Anthony, Brixie, Hood, Tate. Absent/Excused: Reps. Pagan, Cherry, Kennedy. Representative Allor moved to adopt the meeting minutes from February 5, 2020. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. Representative Lightner moved to adopt the meeting minutes from February 6, 2020. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid a presentation by the Office of the Auditor General on the IT Task Force recommendations before the committee. Melissa Schuiling and Keith Edwards, representing the Office of the Auditor General, gave a presentation. Questions and discussion followed. The Chair laid a presentation on the Executive Budget Recommendation before the committee. Mary Ann Cleary, Director of the House Fiscal Agency, gave a presentation on the Executive Budget Recommendation. Questions and discussion followed. Representative Hoadley moved to excuse Representatives Pagan, Cherry and Kennedy from the meeting. There being no objection the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. There being no further business before the committee, Rep. Shane Hernandez adjourned the meeting at 10:00 AM.
