- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON TAX POLICY REP. LYNN AFENDOULIS CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Wednesday, March 11, 2020 10:30 AM Room 521, House Office Building The House Standing Committee on Tax Policy was called to order by Chair Afendoulis. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Afendoulis, Vaupel, Webber, Farrington, Steven Johnson, Hall, O'Malley, Ellison, Lasinski, Robinson, Whitsett. Absent/Excused: Reps. Lower, Schroeder, Yancey, Wittenberg. Representative Vaupel moved to adopt the meeting minutes from March 4, 2020. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid the following before the committee: Presentation- Economic Development Transparency James Hohman, representing Mackinac Center for Public Policy, presented. Questions and discussion followed. Greg LeRoy, representing Good Jobs First, presented. Questions and discussion followed. Representative Webber moved to excuse Representatives Lower, Schroeder, Yancey and Wittenberg from the meeting. There being no objection the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. There being no further business before the committee, Rep. Lynn Afendoulis adjourned the meeting at 11:07 AM.
