JULIE CALLEY CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Wednesday, September 9, 2020 12:00 PM Room 327, House Office Building The House Committee on Elections and Ethics was called to order by Chair Calley. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Calley, Sheppard, Hornberger, Paquette, Guerra, Hope. Absent: Rep. Marino. Excused: Rep. Marino. Representative Sheppard moved to adopt the minutes from the September 2nd, 2020 meeting. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. Wendzel) A bill to amend 1954 PA 116, entitled "Michigan election law," by amending section 759 (MCL 168.759), as amended by 2018 PA 603. HB 5881 (Rep. Daley) A bill to amend 1954 PA 116, entitled "Michigan election law," by amending section 759 (MCL 168.759), as amended by 2018 PA 603. SB 978 (Sen. Representative Paquette moved to excuse Representative Marino from the meeting. There being no objection the motion prevailed by unanimous consent.
