Gast Senate Appropriations Room of the Capitol Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Adopted the Committee Rules. The Chairman called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m. The Chairman welcomed all the members to the Senate Committee on Appropriations. Next, the Chairman invited Chris Harkins, Director of the Senate Fiscal Agency (SFA), to introduce himself and give a brief overview of the services that the SFA provides. Next, the Chairman invited Valerie Marvin, Capitol Historian and Curator, to give a historical overview of the Harry T. Gast Senate Appropriations Room. The Chairman instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present; Chairman Stamas, Sen.(s) Bumstead, MacGregor, Barrett, Bizon, LaSata, MacDonald, Nesbitt, Outman, Runestad, Schmidt, Victory, Hertel, Hollier, Irwin, Santana, McCann and Bayer, a quorum was present. The Chairman entertained a motion from Sen. Bumstead, supported by Sen. Barrett, to adopt the proposed rules of the Senate Committee on Appropriations. The voting was as follows: Yeas: Chairman Stamas, Sen.(s) Bumstead, MacGregor, Barrett, Bizon, LaSata, MacDonald, Nesbitt, Outman, Runestad, Schmidt, Victory, Hertel, Hollier, Irwin, Santana, McCann and Bayer Nays: None The committee rules were adopted. There being no further business before the committee, the Chairman, supported by Sen. MacGregor, adjourned the meeting at 2:35 p.m., on a voice vote, without objection.
