- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON TRANSPORTATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE REP. PAT OUTMAN CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Tuesday, October 28, 2025 Noon. Room 519, House Office Building The House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure was called to order by Chair Outman. The Chair requested attendance to be called: Present: Reps. Outman, Alexander, Carra, Bruck, Kunse, Neyer, Prestin, Bohnak, Frisbie, Wortz, Herzberg, Koleszar, Andrews, Grant and Miller. Absent: Reps. Hope and Wilson. Excused: Reps. Hope and Wilson. Representative Alexander moved to adopt the meeting minutes from October 21, 2025. There being no objection, the motion prevailed with unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 5078 before the committee: HB 5078 (Rep. Roth) A bill to amend 2001 PA 142, entitled "Michigan memorial highway act," (MCL 250.1001 to 250.2092) by adding section 108. Representative Roth, testified in support of HB 5078. Questions and discussions followed. The following person submitted a card with a neutral position on HB 5078, but did not wish to speak: Max Aulbach, representing the Michigan Department of Transportation. Representative Prestin moved to report out HB 5078 with recommendation. The motion prevailed 15-0-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps.
