BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-2420 FAX: (517) 373-2764 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES February 5, 2019 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Education and Career Readiness was scheduled for Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at 12:00 noon, in the 1300 Room of the Binsfeld Office Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Adopted committee rules. The Chair called the meeting to order at 12:00 noon. She entertained a motion by Sen. Horn to adopt the committee rules. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Theis, Sen.(s) Horn, Bumstead, Runestad, Daley, Polehanki, and Geiss Nays: None The motion prevailed and the rules were adopted. The Chair instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Theis, Sen.(s) Horn, Bumstead, Runestad, Daley, Polehanki, and Geiss, a quorum was present. There being no further business before the committee, the Chair moved to adjourn the committee.
