BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-7840 FAX: (517) 373-3932 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES February 27, 2019 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Natural Resources was scheduled for Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., in the 1300 Room of the Binsfeld Building. The agenda summary is as follow: 1. Adopted the Committee Rules. 2. Testimony regarding hunting, fishing and wildlife issues. The Chairman called the meeting to order at 9:06 a.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chairman McBroom, Sen.(s) Bumstead, Outman, Schmidt, and McCann, a quorum was present. The Chairman entertained a motion by Sen. Bumstead to adopt the committee rules. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chairman McBroom, Sen.(s) Bumstead, Outman, Schmidt, and McCann Nays: None The motion prevailed and the rules were adopted. The Chairman invited the following individuals to present testimony remotely from Iron Mountain, Michigan: Tony Demboski, Upper Peninsula Sportsmen’s Alliance Dave Johnson, Upper Peninsula Sportsmen’s Alliance Rick Commenator, Wildlife Unlimited of Iron County Al Ettenhofer, UP Whitetails Stu Horn, Citizen The Chairman invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding hunting, fishing and wildlife issues: Amy Trotter, Michigan United Conservation Clubs There being no further business before the committee, the Chairman moved to adjourn the committee.
