BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-7670 FAX (517) 373-5958 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES February 28, 2019 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Advice and Consent was scheduled for Thursday, February 28, 2019, at 11:30 a.m., in the 1300 Room of the Binsfeld Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. A hearing to consider the appointment of Liesl Clark as the Director of the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality. The Chairman called the meeting to order at 11:30 a.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chairman Lucido, Sen.(s) LaSata, Nesbitt, McBroom, and Hertel, a quorum was present. The Chairman moved to adopt the meeting minutes from the February 27, 2019 meeting. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chairman invited Liesl Clark to provide the committee with her opening statements. The Chairman invited committee members to ask questions regarding the appointment of Liesl Clark as the Director of the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality.
