BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-2420 FAX: (517) 373-2764 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES March 13, 2019 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Insurance and Banking was scheduled for Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at 8:30 a.m., in the 1100 Room of the Binsfeld Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Presentation by Kevin Clinton and Joe Erhardt, of the Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association, regarding Michigan's catastrophic claims fund. The Chairwoman called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. She instructed the clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chairwoman Theis, Sen.(s) Lauwers, LaSata, Nesbitt, Daley, Barrett, Horn, Geiss, Bullock, and McMorrow, a quorum was present. The Chairwoman entertained a motion by Sen. Lauwers to adopt the meeting minutes from March 6, 2019. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chairwoman invited Kevin Clinton and Joe Erhardt, of the Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association, to present regarding Michigan's catastrophic claims fund. There being no further business before the committee, the Chairwoman moved to adjourn the committee.
