The Chairman called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present; Chairman Stamas, Sen.(s) Bumstead, MacGregor, Barrett, Bizon, LaSata, MacDonald, Nesbitt, Outman, Runestad, Schmidt, Victory, Hertel, Hollier, Irwin, Santana, McCann and Bayer, a quorum was present. The Chairman entertained a motion by Sen. Bumstead, supported by Sen. MacGregor, to adopt the committee meeting minutes from April 24, 2019. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chairman invited Sen. Nesbitt to summarize the (S-1) version of SB 141. The Chairman entertained a motion from Sen. Schmidt, supported by Sen. Bumstead, to adopt the (S-1) version of SB 141.
