- COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES June 6, 2019 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Economic and Small Business Development was scheduled for Thursday, June 6, 2019, at 12:00 noon, in the 1200 Room of the Binsfeld Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Reported SB 306 (Sen. MacGregor) with recommendation and immediate effect. The Chairman called the meeting to order at 12:04 p.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chairman Horn, Sen.(s) VanderWall, MacGregor, Theis, Lauwers, Schmidt, McMorrow, Geiss, and Moss; a quorum was present. The Chairman entertained a motion by Sen. VanderWall to adopt the meeting minutes from May 23, 2019. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chairman entertained a motion by Sen. VanderWall to report SB 306 to the floor with recommendation that it pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chairman Horn, Sen.(s) VanderWall, MacGregor, Lauwers, Schmidt, McMorrow, Geiss, and Moss. Nays: Sen.(s) Theis. Pass: None. The motion prevailed and the bill was reported. The Chairman moved to recommend immediate effect for SB 306. Without objection, immediate effect was recommended. There being no further business before the committee, the Chairman moved to adjourn the committee.
