Gast Senate Appropriations Room of the Capitol Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Reported SB 298 (Sen. MacGregor) with recommendation and immediate effect. 2. Adopted Legislative Transfer Request 2019-2. The Chairman called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present; Chairman Stamas, Sen.(s) Bumstead, MacGregor, Barrett, Bizon, LaSata, MacDonald, Nesbitt, Outman, Runestad, Schmidt, Victory, Hertel, Hollier, Irwin, Santana, McCann and Bayer, a quorum was present. The Chairman entertained a motion by Sen. Bumstead, supported by Sen. MacDonald, to adopt the committee meeting minutes from May 22, 2019. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chairman invited Sen. MacGregor to speak regarding SB 298. The Chairman entertained a motion from Sen. MacGregor, supported by Sen. Santana, to report SB 298 to the floor with recommendation that it pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chairman Stamas, Sen.(s) Bumstead, MacGregor, Barrett, Bizon, LaSata, MacDonald, Nesbitt, Outman, Runestad, Schmidt, Victory, Hertel, Hollier, Irwin, Santana, McCann and Bayer Nays: None The bill was reported to the floor. The Chairman entertained a motion from Sen. Bumstead, supported by Sen. Schmidt, to recommend immediate effect for SB 298. Without objection, immediate effect was recommended. Next, the Chairman invited Chris Harkin, director of the Senate Fiscal Agency, to summarize Legislative Transfer Request 2019-2. The Chairman entertained a motion from Sen. Hertel, supported by the Chair, to adopt Legislative Transfer Request 2019-2. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chairman Stamas, Sen.(s) Bumstead, MacGregor, Barrett, Bizon, LaSata, MacDonald, Nesbitt, Outman, Runestad, Schmidt, Victory, Hertel, Hollier, Irwin, Santana, McCann and Bayer Nays: None The Legislative Transfer Request 2019-2 was adopted. There being no further business before the committee, the Chairman entertained a motion by Sen. LaSata, supported by Sen.
