At that time, the following members were present: Chairman Lucido, Sen.(s) VanderWall, Barrett, Johnson and Runestad, a quorum was present. The Chairman entertained a motion by Sen. VanderWall to adopt the meeting minutes from August 29, 2019. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. At 8:37 a.m., Sen. Irwin entered the meeting. The Chairman invited Sen. Johnson to summarize SB's 70-76. The Chairman invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding SB's 70-76: Miriam Jane-Black O'Shea, Michigan State Council of Junior Leagues and Herself – Support. Jean Doss, Michigan Coalition to End Domestic & Sexual Violence – Support. Lore A. Rogers, Michigan Domestic and Sexual Violence Prevention and Treatment Board – Support. Lindsay Dunlop, Citizen – Support. Nicole Beverly, Citizen – Support. Ashton Steele, Citizen – Support. At 8:56 a.m., Sen. Chang entered the meeting.
