The Chair requested attendance to be called: Present: Reps. Schuette, Aragona, Wendzel, Martin, Posthumus, DeBoer, Witwer, Liberati and Herzberg. Absent: None. Excused: None. Representative Martin moved to adopt the meeting minutes from October 30, 2025. There being no objection, the motion prevailed with unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4926 before the committee: HB 4926 (Rep. St. Germaine) A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled "Public health code," by amending sections 16211, 16216, and 16238 (MCL 333.16211, 333.16216, and 333.16238), section 16211 as amended and section 16238 as added by 1993 PA 79 and section 16216 as amended by 2014 PA 413, and by adding section 16211a. Representative Witwer moved to adopt substitute (H-1) to HB 4926. The motion prevailed 9-0-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Schuette, Aragona, Wendzel, Martin, Posthumus, DeBoer, Witwer, Liberati and Herzberg. Nays: None. Pass: None. Neyer) A bill to repeal 1964 PA 158, entitled "An act to provide for the licensing of wholesale potato dealers; to prescribe certain powers and duties for certain state agencies; to require certain types of financial security for certain persons under certain circumstances, and to prescribe the procedure for its enforcement; to provide remedies and penalties for violations of the act; and to repeal certain acts and parts of acts," (MCL 290.451 to 290.466). Representative Neyer testified in support of HB 4881 and HB 4882. Questions and discussions followed. At 11:41 AM, the Chair laid the committee at ease.
