BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-7670 FAX: (517) 373-5958 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES October 10, 2019 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Advice and Consent was scheduled for Thursday, October 10, 2019 at 11:30 a.m., in the 1300 Room of the Binsfeld Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. A hearing to consider the appointment of Ms. Geralyn A. Lasher to the Michigan Liquor Control Commission. 2. A hearing to consider the appointment of Mr. Patrick M. Gagliardi to the Michigan Liquor Control Commission. The Chairman called the meeting to order at 11:37 a.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chairman Lucido, Sen.(s) LaSata, Nesbitt, McBroom and Hertel, a quorum was present. The Chairman entertained a motion by Sen. LaSata to adopt the meeting minutes from the September 26, 2019 meeting. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chairman invited the Ms. Geralyn A. Lasher to provide the committee with her opening statements. The Chairman invited committee members to ask questions of Ms. Lasher regarding her appointment to the Michigan Liquor Control Commission. The following cards were read of those individuals not wishing to present testimony before the committee regarding the appointment of Ms. Geralyn A. Lasher to the Michigan Liquor Control Commission: Brendan Ringlever, Michigan Spirits Association – Support Spencer Nevins, Michigan Beer and Wine Wholesalers Association – Support Charlene Brandt, 7-Eleven Incorporated – Support Auday Arabo, Midwest Independent Retailers Association - Support The Chairman invited the Mr. Patrick M Gagliardi to provide the committee with his opening statements. The Chairman invited committee members to ask questions of Mr. Gagliardi regarding his appointment to the Michigan Liquor Control Commission. The following cards were read of those individuals not wishing to present testimony before the committee regarding the appointment of Ms. Geralyn A.
