BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-7670 FAX: (517) 373-5958 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES October 24, 2019 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Advice and Consent was scheduled for Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 12:00 noon., in the 1300 Room of the Binsfeld Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. A hearing to consider the appointment of Mr. Ronald W. Beebe to the Michigan Strategic Fund Board of Directors. The Chair called the meeting to order at 12:02 p.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Lucido, Sen.(s) LaSata and McBroom, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. LaSata to adopt the meeting minutes from the October 23, 2019 meeting. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair moved to excuse absent members form the meeting. Without objection, Sen.(s) Nesbitt and Hertel were excused from the meeting. The Chair invited Mr. Ronald W. Beebe to provide the committee with his introductory statements. Member questions followed. There being no further business before the committee, the Chair moved to adjourn the meeting. Without objection, the committee was adjourned at 12:25 p.m. Date Adopted by Committee: 10/31/2019
