BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-3543 FAX: (517) 373-0927 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES October 31, 2019 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Local Government was scheduled for Thursday, October 31, 2019, at 1:30 p.m., in the 1200 Room of the Binsfeld Office Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Testimony regarding SB 608, SB 609 and SB 610 (Sen. Zorn). The Chair called the meeting to order at 1:33 p.m. He instructed the clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Zorn, Sen.(s) Johnson, Daley, Alexander and Moss, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Daley to adopt the meeting minutes from October 10, 2019. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding SB 608, SB 609 and SB 610: Cheryl Wassa, Citizen – Support Karlene Lehman and I.
