BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-7670 FAX: (517) 373-5958 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES December 5, 2019 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Judiciary and Public Safety was scheduled for Thursday, December 5, 2019, at 8:30 a.m., in the 1100 Room of the Binsfeld Office Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Testimony regarding HB 4126 (S-2) (Rep. Albert). 2. Testimony regarding HB 4127 (S-2) (Rep. Rendon). 3. Testimony regarding SB 420 (Sen. Lucido). 4. Testimony regarding SB 533 (Sen. Lucido). 5. Testimony regarding SB 534 (Sen. Lucido). The Chair called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Lucido, Sen.(s) VanderWall, Barrett, Johnson, Runestad, Chang, and Irwin, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. VanderWall to adopt the meeting minutes from November 7, 2019. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited Rep. Albert and Rep. Rendon to summarize HB's 4126-4127.
