The agenda summary is as follows: Presentation by Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) Chairman Sally Talberg: 'The Commission's Role in System Reliability and VAR.' The Chair called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Lauwers, Sen.(s) Horn, LaSata, Nesbitt, Barrett, Bumstead, Outman, McCann, Brinks and McMorrow, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Horn to adopt the meeting minutes from January 14, 2020. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding the MPSC's role in system reliability and VAR: Sally Talberg, Chair, Michigan Public Service Commission – No Position The Chair read the cards of those individuals not wishing to testify before the committee: Evan Bixby, PineGate Renewables – No Position There being no further business before the committee, the Chair moved to adjourn the committee.
